Goldman Sachs Asset Management has introduced a new biodiversity bond fund, one of the first fixed-income funds designed to give investors exposure to projects that support biodiversity conservation and restoration. The EU-listed fund will focus on bonds that finance biodiversity-related initiatives or are issued by companies with revenue streams dedicated to ecological sustainability. At least 90% of its investments will be classified as sustainable under the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) article 9.
