Diginex has announced that it has signed a non-binding agreement to acquire Plan A, a provider of carbon measurement, reporting and reduction software. The company said the planned transaction will support its goal of creating a comprehensive AI-powered solution for ESG oversight and carbon management. The acquisition comes as global demand rises for tools that support corporate carbon management software, driven by regulations such as the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the International Sustainability Standards Board standards.
Plan A, founded in 2017 by CEO Lubomila Jordanova, has built a platform that enables companies to measure emissions, set science-based targets and report progress with transparency. The software is aligned with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and SBTi guidance, and is used by companies that include BMW, Deutsche Bank, Visa and Trivago. Diginex said that integrating Plan A into its portfolio will strengthen its technology for automated data collection, emissions dashboards and audit-ready reporting while complementing its existing supply chain risk tools and AI-supported advisory services.
Diginex added that bringing the two companies together is expected to accelerate revenue growth from 2026 through expanded cross-selling and a larger presence across Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Chairman Miles Pelham said the combined platform will help clients convert complex sustainability data into strategic insight, noting that the deal positions Diginex to offer one of the most complete solutions in the market focused on corporate carbon management software.
