STX introduces new platform to simplify energy certificate procurement

STX Group has launched STX Climate Tech, a platform designed to help companies manage and procure Energy Attribute Certificates with greater efficiency. The system provides centralized tracking, automated documentation and procurement tools that support Scope 3 decarbonization efforts, with plans to expand into additional commodities in 2026.

STX Group has introduced STX Climate Tech, a new platform designed to help companies simplify the procurement and management of environmental commodities. The initial launch centers on Energy Attribute Certificates and gives users tools to organize procurement, streamline documentation and support their progress on EAC procurement solutions. STX said the platform is built for companies looking to improve transparency and take measurable steps toward supply chain decarbonization.

The platform allows corporate users to request pricing, track EAC transactions and manage certificates, invoices and contracts in one system. It also generates verified data and documentation that align with CDP and RE100 frameworks, helping companies meet disclosure expectations while improving internal consistency. STX expects to expand the platform in early 2026 to include additional environmental commodities that will support Scope 1 emissions reductions.

STX Group said the platform responds to a growing need for centralized tools that help companies manage both Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions across complex supply chains. Jens Schumacher, Managing Partner at STX Group, noted that progress on Scope 2 emissions has increased the need for improved solutions that address supply chain challenges. He said the new platform is positioned to help clients manage decarbonization more efficiently as they integrate broader EAC procurement solutions into their operations.
